Dyson Tasklight | OOH
Dyson’s task light, one of their less prominent products, presented an opportunity for creative enhancement. For this project, I explored innovative out-of-home (OOH) advertising designs with the goal of elevating the task light’s visibility to match the prominence of Dyson’s well-known vacuums and dryers.
My approach included designing an engaging animatic for electronic billboards, as showcased on the final page. The concept involved creating a dramatic effect where the billboards initially appeared to malfunction and then went dark, only to reveal that the blackout was sponsored by Dyson. The backlighting for the billboards was designed using the same bulbs as Dyson’s task lights, reinforcing the product’s connection with the campaign.
This project allowed me to advance my skills in graphic design and compositing, combining creativity with technical execution to produce a compelling and memorable advertisement.
