In this project, we were provided with the full-length movie Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) along with several cast interviews and tasked with creating an extended trailer or director’s cut from the existing footage. The goal was to reimagine the film’s narrative and tone in a condensed format while maintaining its emotional impact and cinematic essence.

This project demanded a deep understanding of storytelling, pacing, and the ability to distill the film’s key moments into a compelling trailer. I meticulously selected scenes, dialogue, and musical elements that would resonate with both fans of Queen and a broader audience. The process involved crafting a cohesive narrative arc, balancing dramatic tension with the film’s iconic musical performances.

Working on this project sparked my passion for film editing, as it required a blend of creative vision and technical skill. It was an opportunity to explore how editing shapes the storytelling experience, and it solidified my interest in pursuing further work in this field.
